Lekau employees’ health forms the basis of our safety strategy. Employees are taken through medical screening even before being booked onto the Client’s Occupational Health engagement centre. As part of safety discussions, health topics are also included to communicate health and wellness matters with employees. Our strategy seems to bear fruit thus far because employee availability is high. Healthy life style and good nutrition are emphasised to ensure that employees overcome fatigue. Lekau has also developed Fatigue Management Plan to ensure that employees are aware of fatigue.

Lekau has pledged to protect the environment. Our main aim is to prevent environmental degradation and contamination. Lekau shall comply with all Management Systems (e.g. ISO 14001) to enhance quality of environmental management. This management system will focus on leading and lagging indicators. Key to this system is the Organizational Culture which is underpinned by the SHEQ pledge as signed by all.
